Two personal worlds merge into one layered narrative. The work is the result of a shared exploration by Davey WAXX Verhaeghe and Wieke Aerts. A fusion of memory and observation. ———————————— From Davey’s perspective, a photographic session marks the starting point: a visual summary of years filled with milestones and moments of growth, change and meaning. These memories are distorted, camouflaged in line compositions, deliberately hidden from the outside world. They carry the weight of the personal, but reveal nothing literally; only within an intimate circle can the true meaning unfold.——————————————— Wieke’s story blends together like a subtle countercurrent: a visual exploration of the intersections between human, nature, city and technology. Her images register fragments of a world in transition, raw and unfiltered, captured in the moment. ———————————– Together, this work forms a place where inner timelines and outer realities intersect. It is an archive of encounters: between past and present, between the visible layer of the image and the invisible layer of meaning. Points of Transition invites the viewer to learn to see again, to search for the unseen in the everyday, and to ask themselves: what lies hidden beneath the surface of what we think we know?
